Spotless Cleaner’s

145 Market Drive

Dear Mr.Thorntree,

I recently had three jackets dry cleaned at Spotless Cleaner’s . Unfortunately, when I got home and looked at one of the jackets, I noticed there was a large rip on one of the sleeves. I immediately returned the item to your building on Market Drive, but the sales clerk told me that the company was not responsible for any damages incurred during cleaning. I have been doing business with Spotless Cleaner’s for three years and have always received excellent service, but I am quite distressed about this recent incident. I would like the company to pay for the repair of this item, and to give me a full refund on the cost of dry cleaning all three items . Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss this matter. I can be reached Monday to Friday after 6 p.m, and Saturday and Sunday any time. My home numberis 632-365-1456. You can also reach me at my office at 653-362-9876.

Regards,

Linda Applebee

I am sorry to give you such late notice, but I need to postpone our early afternoon meeting today until later this week. Arie Gold, our leading agent, has booked us a meeting later today with Quinton Jones, the famous director from Detroit, about his upcoming movie Aquaman. On top of that, I have an executive producer meeting with the studio and with the president of operations in Hollywood. I have free time on Friday morning at around 11. Is that time good for you? If that is not good time for you, please tell me a more suitable date and time. I am looking forward to meeting you and your client.

Questions 11-13 refer to the following letter

Tuesday, October 31st

Dear all,

I have some sad news I’m afraid. Some of you may know this already, but Betty Jackson is retiring after 25 years of service with us. She will be greatly missed by us all and the office will certainly not be the same without her. To show her how much she has meant to all of us, we’re going to have a black-tie dinner and dance on Saturday, December 15th at Rosebud Hotel, a lovely country house set in acres of beautiful countryside where we can give her the send-off she deserves. All members of Davey Papers and their significant others are invited to join us. The hotel is a wonderful place for a weekend getaway if any of you were thinking about staying there. If you need a map, send me an e-mail at bobbray@davey.com.

-Location: Rosebud Hotel

-Time: 7 p.m until 11 p.m.

Please RSVP before the 1st December.

To RSVP please call Sandra Day on ext.2488 or send her an e-mail: sandyday@davey.com. She will need to take the names for table settings. By the way, Sandra says that she would be more than happy to take care of any room reservations for those of you who wish to stay at the hotel that night.

I hope you can join us to show Betty how much she has meant to us. If you have any ideas for a special gift, please e-mail me or Sandra as we would like to make this as personal as possible.

Bob

Dear Mr.Addison:

I want to confirm our luncheon appointment at Chez Fifi on Wednesday, May 17, at 12:30. Yesterday, I have looked through your preliminary drawings for our new offices and am very impressed with your ideas . I particularly liked the skylight-it will add an airy openness while reducing the need for overhead lighting. Would it be possible for you to bring me an extra set of blueprints with you to the meeting, so that I can show my partners?

I look forward to the meeting, and believe we can resolve the few remaining problems then.

Sincerely,

Josh Harrins

President

To : Jonathon Bauer < jonbauer@tennmail.com>

Subject : Evergreen TFP

Attach : TFP.doc

Dear Mr.Bauer,

Thank you for expressing interest in Evergreen Solution’s Tailored Fertilizing Program (TFP) . We are sorry that you were unable to access this information directly via our Web site, but the page featuring the program is currently undergoing routine maintenance. Attached to this message you will find a thorough and detailed explanation of the program, but I would like to take the time to give you a basic outline here.

Fertilizing is an integral part of agriculture and has been for thousands of years. Methods and materials have changed over time, but the advent of inorganic fertilizers in the nineteeth century has arguably had the greatest effect on the farming industry. They use dramatically raised crop yields and supported population growth. Unfortunately, their use has also led to incredible amounts of pollution and soil toxicity.

This is where the Tailored Fertilizer Program finds its origin. When properly managed, organic fertilizers have far less environmental impact and can be just as effective, if not more so. Our trained experts examine the soil properties of individual fields and develop fertilizer blends that will provide the desired crop with its ideal nutrion. Our ingredients are 100% natural , and they all have Environmental Security Agency approval for use. However, the benefits of our products are not limited to environmental concerns and sustainability. In a survey we conducted with the customers we have had since our founding 10 years ago, all of them reported savings over when they used chemical fertilizers; some as much as 30%. We currently have contracts with some of the largest agricultural collectives in the country, as well as hundreds of smaller family owned farms. These clients include a wide variety of farming types from rice paddies to corn fields to apple orchards. Therefore, we are confident that we can help you produce more, with less impact on the environment and your wallet

Sincerely,

Calleigh Stokes
